The first floor at Transfiguration, where all Hair services are carried out, is completely ADA compliant — including the gender-neutral bathroom.
Skincare and Waxing services are carried out in a private room down two small flights of stairs with a landing in between, a total of 17 steps.
Transfiguration is not scent free but we strive to keep it synthetic scent free.
Ear plugs are available at our front desk to help keep over-stimulation at bay.

We ask that you cancel or reschedule your service within 48 hours of your appointment. In the event that you do not make it to your appointment, arrive more than 10 minutes late, or cancel/reschedule past our 48-hour time frame, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee. Our cancellation fee is 50% of the cost of the canceled/rescheduled services.

Baltimore Ave and many surrounding streets have free street parking without time constraints. The area is typically busy on Saturday’s making parking more sparse. Always check for any signs indicating timed or metered parking and give yourself plenty of time to account for travel or parking delays.
Transfiguration Hair Studio is a hair salon and skincare service provider in the Cedar Park neighborhood of West Philadelphia. We provide a variety of hair cutting and hair coloring services for all fabrics of hair in conjunction with waxing & skin care services for all folks across the gender spectrum. Each of our haircrafters has the ability to work from sharp bobs into lived-in shag haircuts, tailored custom hair colors, and curly hair knowledge. While there is a large range, each haircrafter does have their own flavor of joy bringing specialities.
Our Beauty Therapist and Esthetician are prepared to provide top-quality facials, brows, lash lifts, beauty services, body services and waxing all from a trauma-informed and identity-affirming standpoint.
